Therapeutic foster care is a home-based program for children who need intensive support, supervision, and personal intervention. Unity Home Care serves children who are in state custody due to abuse and neglect, or children who exhibit delinquent behaviors, extensive medical issues, or significant behavioral and emotional needs.

As we proudly serve Greensboro, NC and the surrounding areas our primary focus is to support the family in overcoming barriers that prohibit both the child's development and the ongoing operation of a positive family system. Counseling and intervention services are based on understanding how each family functions. 

We recognize that each child/family is unique, which may require different professional and paraprofessionals to provide support services such as psychological counseling, behavior management support, crisis intervention, respite care, foster parents, tutoring, transportation support, mentoring, and more.

Making a Difference, One Child at a Time

A child or family may require any or all of the services listed above. In addition, education is a process through which growth and development occur. Unity Home Care utilizes this process to help people change by acquiring skills, developing new beliefs and values, and becoming individuals that are contributing members of society.

A Foster Care Coordinator supports each individual family. These Foster Care Coordinators partner with the family to develop support services such as in-home counseling, mentoring, tutoring, and respite care. Our staff is on call and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whenever assistance, support, direction, or advocacy is needed, be sure to contact our team.
